YASHIL PORTAL is an open environmental monitoring platform for Uzbekistan. It brings sensor readings, GIS layers and AI forecasting together on one screen — and every figure carries its source and the time it was measured.

Four capabilities, one platform
Real-time air quality
PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, O₃, SO₂ and CO measured continuously and refreshed every 15 minutes, benchmarked against WHO guideline values.
Interactive GIS layers
Monitoring stations, reported hotspots, tree-planting sites, water bodies and Sentinel-5P satellite data — each layer toggles independently.
AI forecasting
A 72-hour air quality forecast per district, published with an explicit confidence band. Forecast values are always labelled as estimates, never as measurements.
Citizen reports
Anyone can report illegal dumping, smoke or unauthorised tree felling with a photo and a location. Every report gets a tracking number and a public status.

Questions, answered
Where does the data come from?
Ground monitoring stations, open satellite sources such as Copernicus Sentinel-5P and NASA FIRMS, and partner laboratory analyses. Each reading is displayed with its source and measurement timestamp.
Is the data free to use?
Yes. All open data is available at no cost via CSV, GeoJSON and a public API under a CC BY 4.0 licence. If you use it in research or publishing, please credit YASHIL PORTAL.
How accurate are the readings?
Sensors are regularly calibrated against reference stations. Forecast values are probabilistic estimates, clearly marked as such, and are not a substitute for official measurements.
What does the AQI number mean?
0–50 good, 51–100 moderate, 101–150 unhealthy for sensitive groups, 151–200 unhealthy, 201–300 very unhealthy, above 300 hazardous. The scale follows WHO air quality guidance.
Is the site available in other languages?
Yes — Uzbek is the primary language, with English and Russian versions available from the header navigation.
